Rakshabandhan Celebration

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon commemorated Rakshabandhan on August 9, 2025, with considerable enthusiasm and zeal. One hundred thirty-two students from classes 3 to 10 and twenty-five faculty members participated.  The program commenced with the chanting of three Omkars followed by a Shanti Path.  Subsequently, the Rakshabandhan ritual began with sisters performing Aarti for their respective brothers.  Following this, the sisters tied the Raksha Sutra, and the brothers offered sweets to their sisters.  The program concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, effectively instilling the tradition.

Following the ceremony, a contingent of students, accompanied by teachers, visited several locations.  These include Rajendra Prasad Hospital (RPH) Mayabunder, Primary Health Centre (PHC) Tugapur, Forest Range Office Tugapur, Electricity Office Tugapur, and APWD Tugapur. The purpose of these visits was to tie the Raksha Sutra to the Doctors, Ranger Ma'am, JE Sir, NACD personnel, and other staff members in recognition of their continuous support and service to the community and the nation. The students and teachers expressed their gratitude for the dedication and commitment of these essential service providers. The visits fostered a sense of community and mutual respect between the school and these vital organizations. The gesture of tying the Raksha Sutra symbolized the bond of protection and care, acknowledging the important roles these professionals play in society. The event served as a valuable learning experience for the students, emphasizing the importance of service and community engagement. 

The visits also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with professionals in various fields, broadening their understanding of different career paths. The overall celebration of Rakshabandhan at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon was a resounding success, effectively promoting traditional values and community spirit. The event fostered a sense of unity and mutual respect among the students, faculty, and the wider community. The participation of both students and teachers in the visits to various service providers underscored the school's commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. The celebration of Rakshabandhan served as a platform to express gratitude and appreciation for the dedicated service of essential workers.

Report on Sanskar Varga

Sanskar Varga was organized on 9th July 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon. The session began with three Omkara and Shanti Path, followed by Shloka Abhyaas (Karma Yoga Sloka 1 - 5), Yoga Abhyaas (Tadasana and Vrikshasana), Agya Abhyaas ( Nischalo Vabha, Sastito Vabha & Sustho Vabha), engaging games (Hindi English Counting & Ping-Pong), melodious Geet (Bane Hum Rashtra Ke Yogi), an insightful story (Chennamma - Queen of Keladi) and  Sankalp. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra and Prathna, leaving the participants with a sense of discipline and devotion. A total of 22 students participated, including 15 boys and 7 girls.

                       

On 16th July 2025 the Sanskar Varga was conducted from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon. The session began with three Omkara and Shanti Path, followed by Shloka Abhyaas (Karma Yoga Sloka 1 - 5), Yoga Abhyaas (Loosening Exercise - Eye, Neck and Tadasana ), Agya Abhyaas ( Nischalo Vabha, Sastito Vabha, Sustho Vabha, Bama Vallam Kuru & Dakshina Vallam Kuru), engaging games (Passing the Bottle), melodious Geet (Dharm Ke Liye), an insightful story (Mangal Pandey) and Sankalp. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra and Prathna, fostering a sense of discipline and devotion within the participants. A total of 25 students participated with the guidance of teacher Rabin Bacher and Prasanta Bepari.

                          

On 23th July 2025 the Sanskar Varga was conducted from 2:40 PM to 3:40 PM at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon. The session began with three Omkara and Shanti Path, followed by Shloka Abhyaas (Karma Yoga Sloka 1 - 5), Yoga Abhyaas (Loosening Exercise - Eye, Neck and Tadasana ), Agya Abhyaas ( Nischalo Vabha, Sastito Vabha, Sustho Vabha & Mandalam Kuru), engaging games (Ball Passing Under The Leg), melodious Geet (Bane Hum Rashtra Ke Yogi), an insightful moral story on "Patriotism" and Sankalp. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra and Prathna, instilled a spirit of discipline and devotion among the participants. A total of 16 students participated with the guidance of teacher Rabin Bacher and Prasanta Bepari.

On 30th July 2025 from 2:40 PM to 3:40 PM at Vivekananda Kendra, Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon. The session began with three Omkara and Shanti Path, followed by Shloka Abhyaas (Karma Yoga Sloka 1 - 5), Yoga Abhyaas (Tadasana & Vrikshasana), Agya Abhyaas ( Nischalo Vabha, Sastito Vabha, Sustho Vabha, Mandalam Kuru), engaging games (Fhal, Phul, Sabji) , melodious Geet (Desh Hai Pukarta), an insightful story & discussion on "How to Develop Patriotism Among Us". The program concluded with Shanti Mantra and Prarthana, inspiring the participants with values of discipline and devotion. A total of 17 students participated with the guidance of teacher Rabin Bacher and Prasanta Bepari.

Report of Kendra Varga Sessions

 Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon conducted the Kendra Varga on the following days in the month of July 2025.

11th July 2025 – Theme: Teamwork

Led by Nisha Halder Didi, the session involved 18 teachers. It began with three Omkara, Shanti Path, and Eikya Mantra, followed by Yoga-Abhyas and energetic Agya-Abhyas. Activities included a patriotic game and group song Shakti Sambhritam, concluding with a discussion on teamwork, Prarthana and Avalokan.


18th July 2025 – Theme: Patriotism

Conducted by Nisha Halder Didi with 17 teachers. The session featured prayers, Yoga-Abhyas, Agya session, a fun Ping Pong game, group song, and a discussion on inculcating patriotism in students, ending with Prarthana and Avalokan.

25th July 2025 – Theme: Discipline

Led by Shipra Saha with 16 participants, the session included three Omkara, Bhadrasank, pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari), Agya-Abhyas, a fun game (Phal Phul Sabji), geet Galat Mat Kadam Uthao, and a discussion on discipline. Ended with Shanti Mantra, Prarthana and Avalokan.

Inter-School Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament

The Deputy Education Office, Mayabunder, North and Middle Andaman, organized the Inter-School Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament for the session 2025–26. Students of Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon participated with great enthusiasm and achieved commendable success.

Bhajan Sandhya

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya  Pahalgaon has conducted Bhajan Sandhya on 26th July 2025 in different locations, spreading spiritual awareness and devotion among students, parents, and the community members residing nearby.


Ram Mandir, Lal Tikrey – Pahalgaon the Bhajan Sandhya was held from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM with around 65 participants. The program began with the chanting of Shanti Path, followed by Guru Bhajan and devotional songs dedicated to Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, and Lord Krishna. The recitation of Nirwan Shatak added spiritual depth. The evening concluded with Shanti Mantra and Prarthana. Prasadam was distributed with the help of parents.

Shiv Mandir, Mayabunder the Bhajan Sandhya started at 5:30 PM and was attended by 33 devotees, including students, parents, and teachers. Shanti Path, Guru Bhajan, and devotional songs were performed. Nirwan Shatak was recited with devotion, followed by concluding prayers and Prarthana. The program ended with prasadam distribution.

Swadesh Nagar Kali Mandir in collaboration with the Swadesh Nagar Kali Mandir Puja Committee, a Bhajan Sandhya was conducted at 5:30 PM with 24 participants, including local children and three teachers. The event began with three Omkareshwar chants and Vadram Karne, followed by four devotional songs and the Nirwan Shatak. It concluded with Prarthana and the distribution of prasadam.

Sitala Mandir, Tugapur–8 the students of VKZPV Pahalgaon led a Bhajan Sandhya from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM. A total of 79 individuals participated. The evening included devotional songs, Nirwan Shatak, and concluded with Prarthana. Prasadam was served to all attendees.


Each Bhajan Sandhya created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere and left a lasting impression on the hearts of the devotees.
