The visit of Sri Vishwas Lapalkar Ji

 On 3rd July 2025, VKZPV Pahalgaon was honored by the visit of Sri Vishwas Lapalkar Ji, the Pranth Sangathak, whose presence and guidance brought immense inspiration to the school community. He arrived at the school premises sharp at 8:30 AM, where he was warmly received by the principal, staff, and students. The day began with a soulful Shanti Path, setting a calm and spiritual tone for the entire session. Following the prayer, Sri Lapalkar Ji had an insightful interaction with the newly joined teachers and Class X students. During the session, he shared valuable guidance on the importance of self-discipline, dedication, and the role of spirituality in education. He encouraged the students to set clear goals, prepare strategically for their board examinations, and stay true to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. His words deeply motivated the students and gave them a renewed sense of purpose. The session concluded with the collective chanting of the Shanti Mantra, joined by 37 participants, including students and teachers, fostering a sense of unity and peace.

 
After this, Sri Lapalkar Ji held a focused meeting with all Class X subject teachers, where he discussed academic strategies, classroom challenges, and individual student progress. He emphasized the role of teachers as mentors and guides, encouraging them to instill not only knowledge but also strong character values in their students. The session served as a platform for the teachers to reflect on their responsibilities and reaffirm their commitment to holistic education. Subsequently, a comprehensive staff meeting was conducted with all teaching faculty members. Sri Lapalkar Ji addressed the gathering with insights on the vision and mission of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, highlighting the spiritual and cultural ethos of the Gurukul system blended with modern educational practices. He urged the staff to lead by example and remain deeply rooted in the values that VKVs stand for. The entire day’s events came to a close with a final Shanti Mantra, leaving everyone with a sense of purpose, calm, and dedication. The visit of Sri Vishwas Lapalkar Ji was a profoundly enriching experience for VKV Pahalgaon, reinforcing the school’s mission to nurture not only academically sound but also spiritually awakened future citizens.

World Veterinary Day

On the occasion of World Veterinary Day, the team from the veterinary hospital organized a session to motivate students to be involved in their future scope. Dr. M. Sujata Hedge, Zonal Officer Animal Husbandry North & Middle Andaman, and Dr. Avinash Neraj, Senior Veterinary Officer, Webi North & Middle Andaman, took part in the session.

There were 70 students and 8 teaching staff present in the session. The session was concluded by concluding Mantra.

EARTH DAY

 Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2025. In that, all the class teachers of their respective classes spoke about the importance and awareness of Earth Day. Then a poster-making competition was conducted. There were 43 students taking part from classes 6th to 8th; a speech competition was also conducted on Earth Day for the students of classes 9th and 10th.

Food Safety

On 11 April 2025 at 10:00 a.m. k Kumar from Andaman and Nicobar Food Safety Department branch of Mayabunder visited VKZPV Pahalgaon to organised and awareness program upon food safety and educate students of class 9th and 10th about 64 participants on the topic healthy eating habits, environmental awareness. The highlighted the key points such as Fortified Rice which is enriched with essential nutrients like iron, folic acid and vitamin B12 to help fight malnutrition and anaemia among school children, they also emphasizing the role of community participation in making safe and healthy food choices. 


The Seminar promoted the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, encouraging student to consume a balanced diet, stay physically active and avoid junk food. A simple and memorable acronym "ALARM" , was introduced to spread awareness about food safety. The session included an interaction and interactive question and answer around, educational videos students actively participated.

Welcome ceremony & Vidya Aarambh


VKZPV Pahalgaon had organized a welcome ceremony on 1st April 2025 for the beginning of the new session. It commenced with offering flowers to The portrait of Swami Vivekananda Ji and Bharat Mata. There was a slow background music of OM chanting. All the class teachers were standing in front of their respective classes to welcome their students by putting Chandan on their forehead. There were 352 students 18 teaching and 5 non teaching staff members were present. The ceremony successfully ended with great love and happiness.

  

VKZPV Pahalgaon organized Vidya Aarambh on 1st April 2025. There were 15 students and 20 parents who contributed to the puja which was guided by Shipra Saha and Aditi Kirtanaya teacher VKZPV Pahalgaon. The pooja started with Shanti path, 3 Omkara. Then chanted Ganesh Vandana and Saraswati Vandana. Parents make their child write Om with rice and give honey to taste. After that Shri Kamal Chandra Das Principal VKZPV Pahalgaon met with parents and soon after the program came to an end.

Personality Development Camp

 VKZPV, Pahalgaon, organized a "Personally Development Camp" 2025-26 on the school premises from 25/3/2025 to 27/3/2025.

  

It was a three-day camp, a total 82 number of students from classes VI and VII took part in the Camp along with 17 teaching and 6 non-teaching staff.

Day 1: 

The Camp began with welcoming and lighting up the lamp by the Chief Guest of the program Sri. Bappi Chaudhari, Inspector fire station, Mayabunder. His speech was very warm and motivational for our students. He also appreciated VKV's decision to conduct PDC every year. After this session of warm motivational speeches, 'Sanskar Varga' was conducted. Students were divided into four ganas: Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda, and Atharvaveda. Students were taught to conduct Sanskar Varga by following all the steps. After finishing their three steps, they got a refreshment break of 10 minutes. Then, after finishing all the steps, they had Bhojan in Prashadam Kaksh and took Vishram. In the next session, a motivational video was shown and explained by the assigned teacher. One more session of 'Sanskar Vargas' was conducted on the same day in the afternoon session.

Day 2:



The first session was taken for Sanskar Varga. The next session was taken by the resource person "Neethi J Vetriyarasan, Inspector IRBN along with SI, C Maninanam Ji, Incharge of Rest Camp SHO Police Station, Mayabunder, and their team, they had taken a wonderful session on "Cyber Crime and Safety", they had conducted Nukkad Natak and make all the students understand and follow in their life. In the next session video was shown in which students came to know about "Indian history, Eknathji's and Swamiji's life which was shown and explained by the assigned teacher. The next session was taken by Dr. Priyanka Iqbal, Ayurveda, Dr. RP Hospital Mayabunder on "Healthy and wellness through Ayurveda". She made the session very interesting and impressive by enlightening many health-related issues in a very simple manner. She pointed out the importance of personal hygiene balanced diet, a healthy lifestyle enhancing cognitive function, etc. In the last session 'Sanskar Varga' was conducted where the teachers guided students and properly did the same.

Day 3:

The first session was taken for the practice of 'Sanskar Varga' in their allotted Ganas, for the Annual Presentation of Sanskar Varga. In the next session, all the Gana students presented Sanskar Varga in front of our Principal sir, Shri Kamal Chandra Das Ji. All the ganas conducted the same in a very successful manner. By the end of the day, students were properly ready to conduct The Sanskar Varga in their locality, as they found it very interesting and enjoyed sharing it with the family and society. The Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function was Reena Lakshmi Didi, Teacher VKZPV Pahalgaon and she was scouted by Shipra Shah Didi, Teacher VKZPV Pahalgaon. The Chief Guest gave a warm speech to motivate students the conduct Sanskar Varga and build our Mother Nation, she also shared her positive views for this PDC. Then the students were asked to share their experiences. The students from classes VI and VII had enthusiastically and positively shared their experience and were willing to attend the same again in the future.

All three days of camp (PDC) Shibir Geet-'Chale Nirantar, Chintan Manthan' was sung by the students before every session. The Day begins with Pratahsmaran and Assembly with Kendra Prarthana. All together the 3 days of Personality Development Camp 2025-26 were conducted successfully.
