GURU PURNIMA

 The auspicious occasion of GURU PURNIMA was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm on 10th July 2025 at Durga Mandir Community Hall, Lal Tikrey, Tagapur. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, community members, students, parents and teachers.

The programme commenced with the chanting of three Omkaras followed by the Shanti Paath, invoking peace and blessings. The sacred ritual of lamp lighting marked the beginning of the celebration, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge.

Bouquet presentations were made to the distinguished guests as a mark of respect and welcome. The welcome address was delivered by Shri Kamal Chandra Das, Principal, VKZPV Pahalgaon, who highlighted the significance of the Guru in shaping lives and guiding society.

  

A series of cultural and academic performances followed:

A soulful Guru Bhajan was presented by Y Anusha of Class VIII. A speech by Supriya, highlighting the role of teachers and the essence of Guru Purnima, was well-received. Students performed a graceful dance on Guru Vandana, which added colour and devotion to the event.

Another Guru Bhajan was performed by a group of students. Shriti Kirkertta, a student, delivered an inspiring speech before the prize distribution ceremony, where students who achieved high scores in Class 10 CBSE exams were felicitated.

The Chief Guest, Shri Prakash Howalader Deo , Mayabunder, addressed the gathering with motivational words, stressing the importance of education and the revered role of teachers in society.

The celebration concluded with a touching Guru Vandana performance by Ayush, Class VIII. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Shri Baleshwar Ram, expressing gratitude to all attendees, participants, and organizers. The event ended on a peaceful note with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra.

              

The Guru Purnima celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the teachers and mentors who continue to illuminate the path of knowledge and wisdom for generations to come. A total of 44 students, 37 parents and guests along with 24 Staff members were present.

Vivekananda Maha Samadhi Diwas Observation

 On the occasion of Vivekananda Maha Samadhi Diwas on 4th July, VKZPV Pahalgaon commemorated the day with great reverence and enthusiasm.

The observation began in the morning with a special prayer session, followed by an inspiring speech by Prasanta Sir, emphasizing the spiritual significance and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

A formal program was organized at 2:00 PM, attended by 75 students and all teaching staff. The event commenced with the chanting of the Shanthi Paath, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. Supriya Madam delivered an insightful speech highlighting Swami Vivekananda’s life, achievements, and struggles, inspiring the students to follow the path of truth and dedication. After the speech, all students and staff took a pledge:

"Hum Vivekananda ji ke aadarshon par chalenge, apne jivan mein Gyan, Dharm aur Seva ko apnaenge aur apne desh ko unnati ki aur le jaenge."

This pledge reaffirmed everyone's commitment to living by Swamiji's ideals.



Our Principal Sir addressed the gathering with motivational words, encouraging students to imbibe Swamiji’s ideals in their lives. The program concluded with the chanting of the Shanthi Mantra, marking a peaceful and reflective end to the event.

The day served as a reminder of the timeless teachings and selfless service of Swami Vivekananda, leaving a deep impact on everyone present.

The visit of Sri Vishwas Lapalkar Ji

 On 3rd July 2025, VKZPV Pahalgaon was honored by the visit of Sri Vishwas Lapalkar Ji, the Pranth Sangathak, whose presence and guidance brought immense inspiration to the school community. He arrived at the school premises sharp at 8:30 AM, where he was warmly received by the principal, staff, and students. The day began with a soulful Shanti Path, setting a calm and spiritual tone for the entire session. Following the prayer, Sri Lapalkar Ji had an insightful interaction with the newly joined teachers and Class X students. During the session, he shared valuable guidance on the importance of self-discipline, dedication, and the role of spirituality in education. He encouraged the students to set clear goals, prepare strategically for their board examinations, and stay true to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. His words deeply motivated the students and gave them a renewed sense of purpose. The session concluded with the collective chanting of the Shanti Mantra, joined by 37 participants, including students and teachers, fostering a sense of unity and peace.

 
After this, Sri Lapalkar Ji held a focused meeting with all Class X subject teachers, where he discussed academic strategies, classroom challenges, and individual student progress. He emphasized the role of teachers as mentors and guides, encouraging them to instill not only knowledge but also strong character values in their students. The session served as a platform for the teachers to reflect on their responsibilities and reaffirm their commitment to holistic education. Subsequently, a comprehensive staff meeting was conducted with all teaching faculty members. Sri Lapalkar Ji addressed the gathering with insights on the vision and mission of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, highlighting the spiritual and cultural ethos of the Gurukul system blended with modern educational practices. He urged the staff to lead by example and remain deeply rooted in the values that VKVs stand for. The entire day’s events came to a close with a final Shanti Mantra, leaving everyone with a sense of purpose, calm, and dedication. The visit of Sri Vishwas Lapalkar Ji was a profoundly enriching experience for VKV Pahalgaon, reinforcing the school’s mission to nurture not only academically sound but also spiritually awakened future citizens.
