Ganesh Chaturthi

 Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon on August 27, 2025.  404 students and 24 staff members participated in the festivities honoring Lord Ganesha.  The program began at 8:30 a.m. with the 3 Omkara, Shanti Paath, led by Arpita Madam.  Students then offered devotional bhajans, followed by a performance by Riya Madam.  Students presented flowers to the image of Lord Ganesha.  An idol-making competition took place, judged by Nisha Mam and Nirmal Sir, showcased students' creativity.  The judges commended the students' artistic talent and understanding of the festival's significance.  The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasad.

 The event fostered unity and cultural understanding among the students and staff.  The celebration served as a reminder of India's rich cultural heritage.

Bhajan Sandhya

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya  Pahalgaon has conducted Bhajan Sandhya on 23rd August 2025 in different locations, spreading spiritual awareness and devotion among students, parents, and the community members residing nearby.


At Shiv Mandir, Mayabunder on 5:40 p.m. Forty-one devotees, comprising students, parents, teachers, and community members, attended the program. It commenced with the Shanti Path, followed by the Guru Bhajan and devotional bhajans dedicated to Lord Ganesh, Shiva, and Krishna.  A recitation of the Nirwan Shatak added a moment of reflection. The event concluded with the Concluding Mantra and Kendra Prarthana, reinforcing shared values.  Prashad was distributed to all attendees.  The Bhajan Sandhya provided a peaceful and uplifting experience.

From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, hosted a Bhajan Sandhya at Durga Mandir, Lal Tikrey, Pahalgaon.  A total of  70 students, parents, and faculty members attended the gathering. The program commenced with the chanting of the Shanti Path, establishing a tranquil ambiance.  Devotional songs, including a Guru Bhajan and hymns dedicated to Lord Ganesh, Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva, and Lord Krishna, followed, inspiring spiritual joy among the attendees. The recitation of the Nirwan Shatak provided a moment of reflection and deepened the devotional atmosphere. The event concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana, promoting unity and spiritual awareness.  Prasadam, distributed with the assistance of parents and students, was offered to all participants. The Bhajan Sandhya offered a peaceful and uplifting experience for all present.

A devotional Bhajan Sandhya, a traditional evening of hymns and spiritual songs, was organized at the revered Sitala Mandir located in Tugapur-8.  This event, held on July 23, 2025, from 6:05 PM to 6:40 PM, was hosted by the students of Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon.  The serene atmosphere of the temple provided a perfect backdrop for the soulful renditions of bhajans.  A total of 32 participants, including students and likely some community members, actively engaged in the Bhajan Sandhya, contributing to the spiritual ambiance. The students' dedicated efforts in organizing and participating in this event showcased their commitment to preserving and promoting traditional cultural and religious practices.  The Bhajan Sandhya served as a platform for the students to express their devotion and share their musical talents while fostering a sense of community and spiritual connection among the attendees.  The chosen hymns likely celebrated various deities and themes of devotion, creating a rich and uplifting experience for all present.  The event concluded at 6:40 PM, leaving a lingering sense of peace and tranquility in the hearts of the participants.



A devotional Bhajan Sandhya (evening of hymns) took place in the community hall of the Swadesh Nagar Kali Mandir.  The event fostered a sense of community and spiritual reflection through shared devotional singing.  Fifteen participants attended the Bhajan Sandhya, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the gathering.  Three teachers were present to guide the participants, offering their expertise and support in leading the hymns.  The teachers' presence enhanced the spiritual experience for all attendees, ensuring a harmonious and enriching Bhajan Sandhya.  The event was well-received by the community, providing a space for shared devotion and connection.

National Space Day Celebration 2025

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon on 23rd August 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:10 am, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon, celebrated National Space Day on the theme “Aryabhatta to Gaganyaan – Ancient Wisdom to Infinite Possibilities.”

The program started with an inspiring speech by Saborni Ma’am, who beautifully highlighted Aryabhatta’s contributions to astronomy and mathematics while linking them to India’s modern triumphs such as the upcoming Gaganyaan mission. Her address motivated students to draw strength from India’s ancient knowledge while embracing boundless future possibilities.

                      

This was followed by a quiz competition, conducted by Ritik Sir and Saborni Ma’am, with Prasanta Sir serving as the judge. Four groups of students from Class IX and X (two in each team, total eight students) participated actively, answering questions with confidence on topics ranging from ancient science to present-day space advancements.

The celebration was attended by 62 students and 12 teachers, making the short yet impactful session vibrant, informative, and motivating. The event concluded with words of encouragement from the teachers, leaving the young minds inspired to aim higher in the field of science and space exploration.

On 22nd August 2025, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon observed Sant Eknath Ji’s Punyatithi in the morning assembly. The program began with prayers, followed by students sharing insights on Sant Eknath Ji’s life, his literary contributions, and his message of devotion and equality. The Principal, in an inspiring address, highlighted his role as a saint and reformer, urging students to imbibe values of humility, service, and compassion. Floral tribute was offered to his portrait, and the program concluded with a pledge to follow his noble teachings in everyday life.

Krishna Janmashtami Celebration

 Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon commemorated Krishna Janmashtami on August 16, 2025, with a vibrant celebration involving students, staff, and parents.  A total of 213 students, ranging from Balvatika-I (pre-primary) to Class X, participated in the festivities.  They were joined by 16 members of the teaching staff, 5 non-teaching staff members, and 26 parents, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere.  The event commenced with a traditional invocation, beginning with the chanting of three "Omkaras," followed by a Shanti Path, a prayer for peace and harmony.  The serene atmosphere was further enhanced by the melodious singing of Krishna bhajans (devotional songs), accompanied by the customary arti, a ritual of offering light to the deity.  Following the musical offerings, Ankita Didi delivered an insightful speech, elucidating the significance and historical context of Krishna Janmashtami, emphasizing the values and teachings associated with Lord Krishna's birth.  The program continued to unfold with the recitation of the Shanti Mantra, reinforcing the theme of peace and tranquility.  A highlight of the celebration was the fancy dress competition organized for the younger students, specifically those from Balvatika-I to Class II.  
This competition saw enthusiastic participation from 17 students, who showcased their creativity and talent by dressing up as various characters related to Lord Krishna and his stories.  The costumes ranged from depictions of Lord Krishna himself, to his divine consort Radha, to other figures from the rich mythology surrounding him, such as gopis (milkmaids) and cowherds.  The competition added a playful and engaging element to the festivities, allowing the children to express their understanding of the occasion in a vibrant and imaginative way.  The judges faced a challenging task in selecting the winners, given the impressive display of creativity and enthusiasm.  The event concluded with the distribution of prasad (blessed food) to all attendees, symbolizing the shared joy and blessings of the occasion.  The celebration of Krishna Janmashtami at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon served as a platform to promote cultural understanding and spiritual awareness among the students, while also fostering a sense of community and togetherness. The event successfully combined traditional rituals with engaging activities, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Independence Day Celebration

 Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahelgaon commemorated Independence Day with a vibrant celebration.  The program commenced at 6:15 am with a student-led rally, promoting national unity and the spirit of freedom throughout the neighboring areas. 479 students and faculty members participated.

After the rally, participants convened on the school grounds for the flag hoisting ceremony.  The National Flag was raised, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem.

The Principal sir then delivered an address commemorating the sacrifices of freedom fighters and encouraging responsible citizenship. Jivesh J. Joshi also spoke, inspiring students with a message of patriotism and dedication.

Student performances followed, beginning with a patriotic song and culminating in a dance celebrating India's diverse cultural unity.  Baleshwar Sir then addressed the attendees, followed by a soulful song presented by Riya Mam.  P. Jayanti of class 10 subsequently delivered a heartfelt speech on freedom and responsibility.


The chief guest Basanti Devi Mam Member Zilla Parishad Pahalgaon then addressed the gathering with an impactful and inspiring speech, formally concluding the ceremony. The event concluded with the distribution of snacks to all students and guests, fostering a joyful atmosphere. The celebration successfully integrated national reverence, cultural expression, and community spirit.

Rakshabandhan Celebration

 Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon commemorated Rakshabandhan on August 9, 2025, with considerable enthusiasm and zeal. One hundred thirty-two students from classes 3 to 10 and twenty-five faculty members participated.  The program commenced with the chanting of three Omkars followed by a Shanti Path.  Subsequently, the Rakshabandhan ritual began with sisters performing Aarti for their respective brothers.  Following this, the sisters tied the Raksha Sutra, and the brothers offered sweets to their sisters.  The program concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, effectively instilling the tradition.

Following the ceremony, a contingent of students, accompanied by teachers, visited several locations.  These include Rajendra Prasad Hospital (RPH) Mayabunder, Primary Health Centre (PHC) Tugapur, Forest Range Office Tugapur, Electricity Office Tugapur, and APWD Tugapur. The purpose of these visits was to tie the Raksha Sutra to the Doctors, Ranger Ma'am, JE Sir, NACD personnel, and other staff members in recognition of their continuous support and service to the community and the nation. The students and teachers expressed their gratitude for the dedication and commitment of these essential service providers. The visits fostered a sense of community and mutual respect between the school and these vital organizations. The gesture of tying the Raksha Sutra symbolized the bond of protection and care, acknowledging the important roles these professionals play in society. The event served as a valuable learning experience for the students, emphasizing the importance of service and community engagement. 

The visits also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with professionals in various fields, broadening their understanding of different career paths. The overall celebration of Rakshabandhan at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon was a resounding success, effectively promoting traditional values and community spirit. The event fostered a sense of unity and mutual respect among the students, faculty, and the wider community. The participation of both students and teachers in the visits to various service providers underscored the school's commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
