NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

 VKZPV Pahalgaon marked the 162nd Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day with great energy and excitement in the school premises on 12th January 2025. The chief guest and the guest of honour was Smti. Nandini Maharaj (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, North and Middle Andaman and Smti. Basanthi Devi, Zilla Parishad member, Pahalgaon.

 


The event began sharply at 5:15 p.m. with the lamp lighting ceremony. The anchor for the evening was Reena madam. Students from Baalvatika II to class 10th participated in dance, singing, thought delivery with role play and skit full heartedly and showcased their talent. Audience applauded the participants a lot by cheering and clapping for their wonderful performance.

 

Special tribute to our great unsung tribal freedom fighter Bhagwaan Birsa Munda was also paid in the evening. His great work for the Nation was shared with the audience and a group of students performed a dance based upon his tribal tradition and culture.

As our school organises different kinds of competitions throughout the session, this annual event is a glamorous occasion to felicitate the winners. Winner of various competitions were handed over their prizes by the hon'ble chief guest and the guest of honour.

Recently, our school organised various competitions in nearby schools under the campaign of ‘Samarth Bharat Parv’. The winners of those competitions were also invited and felicitated in the event. 

The chief guest appraised the students for their active participation and encouraged them with her inspiring words. A Memento was presented to the hon'ble chief guest by our principal. A vote of thanks was given by Arpita mam lastly. The event was brought to an end with the chanting of Shanti Mantra. Around 750 people had gathered to witness the joyous annual occasion of ours.

Samarth Bharat Parva

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon celebrated the Samarth Bharat Parva from 25th December 2024 to 12th January 2025. During this time, various competitions and awareness campaigns were conducted. Teachers visited students' homes and spread the word of mouth on Samartha Bharat Parva and thoughts of Swamiji. On a regular basis, teachers enlightened the students in the assembly on Indian history, culture, and heritage. Also inspired them about how ancient Indian technology was far beyond any other technologies right now.

     

        

Later on, several competitions were conducted in the school premises, like drawing competitions, essay competitions, speech competitions, rangoli making, and many more. Under Samarth Bharat Parva, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon also spread its wings on its neighboring schools to spread the message of Swamiji and the vision. Further adding on it, several competitions are conducted in these schools, like essay competitions and drawing competitions.  They were also inspired by performing traditional dance, song, and Jal Shakti Abhiyan small Nukkad Natak. The participants of the schools were awarded with prizes on 12 January 2025 on the school campus under the banner of National Youth Day.

MANANEEYA BHANUDAS JI VISIT 2025

On 6th January 2025, Mananeeya Bhanudas ji, All India General Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Susri Varsha Didi, Secretary VKVs Andaman and Shri R Venu Gopal ji, Education Officer VKVs Andaman, visited Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon at 7:50 am. Everyone was welcomed traditionally by all staff members of the vidyalaya.

    

 SMC and PTA meeting was organized in the school premises from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Mananeeya Bhanudasji addressed the gathering and elucidated Vivekananda Kendra's work all over India and Andaman. All the members expressed their consensus on the growth and expansion of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas.

After the meeting, Mananeeya Bhanudasji interacted with the newly appointed teachers individually. He also interacted with all the teachers together and discussed various aspects of the development of teachers and Vidyalaya. He spoke about the importance of the day i.e. Guru Govind Singh Ji’s Jayanti and also elaborated the lines of Shivir song. He also highlighted the importance of Sanskaar Varga and Kendra Varga in an individual’s life.   

                                   

Venu Gopal sir spoke upon various key points like Lesson plan, Anecdotal records, (HPC) Holistic Progress cards, Assessment Strategies for students, Teachers’ meeting, students’ Performance Analysis, Spoken English, Concept of Art-Integrated and also took feedback from the teachers regarding it. 

Susri Varsha Didi also addressed the meeting and she urged the teachers to focus on the foundational stage of the students for their progress in future.
