Disaster Simulated: Earthquake

A mock drill on earthquake disaster management was successfully conducted at VKZPV, Pahalgaon, on 29 October 2026 at 1:15 PM. The main objective of the drill was to create awareness among students and staff about earthquake safety measures, emergency evacuation procedures, and disaster preparedness.

A total of 345 students, 20 teachers, and 6 non-teaching staff members participated in the mock drill. The participants included 167 boys and 152 girls.

The following task forces actively participated in the exercise:

Warning and Evacuation Task Force: Alerted the participants and guided them to safe evacuation areas.

Search and Rescue Task Force: Conducted simulated search and rescue operations.

Fire Fighting Task Force: Demonstrated fire safety measures and emergency response procedures.

First Aid Task Force: Provided basic first aid to the simulated injured persons.

All the task forces performed their assigned duties efficiently and coordinated well with one another. The mock drill was completed successfully, ensuring active participation and awareness among students and staff.
