This competition saw enthusiastic participation from 17 students, who showcased their creativity and talent by dressing up as various characters related to Lord Krishna and his stories.  The costumes ranged from depictions of Lord Krishna himself, to his divine consort Radha, to other figures from the rich mythology surrounding him, such as gopis (milkmaids) and cowherds.  The competition added a playful and engaging element to the festivities, allowing the children to express their understanding of the occasion in a vibrant and imaginative way.  The judges faced a challenging task in selecting the winners, given the impressive display of creativity and enthusiasm.  The event concluded with the distribution of prasad (blessed food) to all attendees, symbolizing the shared joy and blessings of the occasion.  The celebration of Krishna Janmashtami at Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Pahalgaon served as a platform to promote cultural understanding and spiritual awareness among the students, while also fostering a sense of community and togetherness.
